| 1974 | The Rittmann company buys the first Pultrusion machine for their plant in Andorf, near Bruck/Mur in Austria. |
| 1980 | Mr. Steinbock assumes leadership of the Rittmann company |
| 1982 | Mr. Pankl assumes leadership of the firm, renamed Faserplastik |
| Jun 1987 | The Wachendorf company of Basel founds Faserprofil, which occupies the Faserplastik properties |
| Apr 1988 | Faserprofil relocates in Deuchendorf, in a plant formerly occupied by the Böhler company |
| Jan 1991 | Mr. Hejl joins the firm as business manager |
| May 1994 | Mr. Hejl assumes majority ownership of Faserprofil, and becomes Managing Director of the firm |
| Dec 1994 | Decision is made to build new production facilities in the Kapfenberg Industrial Park |

Faserprofil
specializes in the development and production of fibers using the "pultrusion" method, and has become the largest producer in Austria. These fibers provide strength to many synthetic materials. Faserprofil is constantly adjusting its activities to better fulfill the needs of its customers. We are a dynamic firm, and we concentrate on becoming more and more flexible. Along with our customers, we are constantly finding new uses for pultruded fibers, strengthening materials which may replace steel, aluminum, or even wood. Faserprofil has the production know-how gained through many years of experience. We are big enough to get the job done, but small enough to be flexible and responsive to our customers' needs. We are innovative and obsessed with the quality of our products and services.
